Back in the US!
It’s hard to believe we are back. I didn’t realize it until now that China really had become a second home for me. The last few days I’ve felt a little like I’m traveling. I feel like I’m seeing things here as an outsider in some ways. But it is good to be back, to see family and friends, to enjoy the beautiful autumn colors and weather, and eat western food! I’m pretty sure Little Leu is loving the food here too… especially the ice cream, chocolate, and Chipotle. : ) Little Leu is doing well. I’ll go a couple days without feeling much movement, but then it will be followed by a couple days of a lot of movement. That’s the cycle.
Yesterday we went to the thrift store and stocked up on sweaters for the wool soakers I want to make. It was so much fun. We got enough sweaters to make plenty of covers… and all for $20, less than the cost of one store-bought cover. Love thrift stores!
